Brandon K. Witschi is a sculptor and fabrication specialist whose practice bridges industrial craft and digital making. In his role at Dallas College, he advances the college’s mission to transform lives and communities through higher education by turning studio rigor into student opportunity—linking concept to craft, and classrooms to careers.
Working across the School of Creative Arts, Entertainment & Design (CAED), Brandon designs learning experiences that mirror professional workflows: steel fabrication and casting, CAD modeling and 3D printing, surface finishing and installation. He leverages multiple labs, shops, and studios to move students from ideation to prototype to exhibition, aligning with CAED’s charge to unite imagination and opportunity and provide cutting-edge pathways into creative industries.
Witschi’s teaching emphasizes critique, safety, and precision—habits that build portfolios and workplace readiness. He collaborates with advisors and career coaches to connect students to guided pathways, internships, and live-event or fabrication pipelines that convert skill into momentum.
